diva 5-154
Factory design, 1956
The armchair shows horgenglarus' upholstery excellence as well as the close collaboration traditionally maintained with architects.
diva, a 1956 in-house design, is seeing a revival with its very independent use of shape. The armchair shows horgenglarus' upholstery excellence as well as the close collaboration traditionally maintained with architects. For example, Bruno Giacometti, the youngest brother of sculptor Alberto Giacometti, chose diva with white leather upholstery in the early 1960s for the wedding chamber of Uster's (Switzerland) town hall, one of his most important works. Seat and back of this comfortable chair are made from high quality foam, making it perfectly suited for long nights at the dining table - at home, in sophisticated hotels and restaurants - but also as commercial furniture for lounge and waiting areas. diva upholstery is available in leather and textile.
