glaris t-1700

Moritz Schlatter, 2012

Its surrounding wooden frame gives distinction to the corners with their typical large radii. Just like the angular mi table, the table top of the organically shaped glaris is also covered by a so called rotary-cut veneer, impressing by its all-over marking.

glaris celebrates horgenglarus' expertise—using steam for bending wood. Designer Moritz Schlatter transferred the constructional and formal principles of the classic chair to the glaris table. Its surrounding wooden frame gives distinction to the corners with their typical large radii. Just like the angular mi table, the table top of the organically shaped glaris is also covered by a so called rotary-cut veneer, impressing by its all-over marking. The solid, conical legs are carefully connected to the frame. A stable and elegant table for residential and commercial spaces.

4-legged table, table top made of veneered plywood (beech rotary-cut veneer), covered with synthetic resin panels or linoleum. Table base frame in solid wood, table lower edge: 68cm
Table height: 74cm
